Acuario Sol Apartments: two-block complex with three pools, rooftop solarium, and poolside restaurant in central Puerto del Carmen
Pool Complex & Sunbathing
Three outdoor swimming pools are spread across two separate blocks. Block I has one adult pool and a rooftop solarium; Block II adds a larger adult pool and a separate children's pool with shallow end. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and a lifeguard who sanitises each sunbed after use are provided around all pools.
Apartment Types & Accommodation
Standard one-bedroom apartments are located mainly in Block I, while Block II offers pool-view apartments, partial pool-view apartments, and two-bedroom apartments. All apartments include a private bathroom, and cleaning service with towel changes occurs every second day. Guests in any block can use the common areas of both blocks.
On-site Dining & Bar
The pool bar in Block II serves freshly prepared meals, snacks, and drinks at reasonable prices, including a Sunday roast and weekly barbecue nights. A restaurant on-site also offers special diet menus, kids' meals, and packed lunches for excursions. Fresh fruits are available, and the bar runs a daily happy hour from 5pm to 7pm with discounted beer and cocktails.
Activities & Entertainment
Indoors, the complex provides a games room with billiards, a shared lounge/TV area, and a library of books for holiday reading. Outdoors, children have their own playground with outdoor play equipment, separate from the adult-focused pool areas. Bicycle and car hire can be arranged through reception, and a tour desk helps plan trips around Lanzarote.
Location & Practical Information
The apartments sit in the centre of Puerto del Carmen, a five-minute downhill walk to the seafront promenade, shops, bars, and restaurants. Free street parking is available nearby, and the bus stop for routes to Arrecife, Costa Teguise, and the airport is a two-minute walk. Note: from March 28 to July 31, 2026, renovation work in Block II will suspend the pool, bar, playground, and laundry services; Block I remains fully operational with a reduced reception schedule (8am to 4pm).
